Today the NY Times ran an article on iPhone thefts around the city. So apparently,
according to the article, many of the thefts occur not from pick-pocketing,
but from the iPhone being grabbed from the individual in the middle of
using it. Think about it. When an individual is on their smart phone, they
are so zombified and hypnotized by their device, that they have no idea
that a thief is inching...

Celebration
Today the Order remembers St John Stone. He was an! Augustinian martyr of the sixteenth century. We joined another local community for a party.
Last saturday we celebrated the reception of a woman into our Order. I posted pictures Sunday.
We keep looking for excuses to celebrate together. I feel bad for people like atheists who have nothing to celebrate.
